Notable achievements for November 2017:
- Rehabilitation Services (DRS): On November 21, 2017, all remaining clients in the “Individuals with Disabilities” category were released from the Order of Selection (OOS). Full access to individuals who are classified in the Most Significantly Disabled and Significantly Disabled categories continues.
- Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired (DSBVI): The Business Enterprise Program (BEP) now has three micro markets that are up and operating. These markets are located at the Salt Lake County Jail, IRS Main, and Postal Encoding.
- Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DSDHH): During the month of November, DSDHH provided workshops and classes to 293 adults statewide as well as holding the Annual Fall Bazaar with 1,248 people in attendance.
- Disability Determination Services: DDS has started the new federal fiscal year increasing accuracy rates from the previous months.
