Funding Assistive Technology
INFORMATION
The bulk of Assistive Technology funding services is informational in
nature. We are constantly surveying ongoing funding systems to ensure
that the people who we serve have access to up-to-date information on
funding options and where they fit in the system.
Advocacy
A certain number of cases can't be solved by information alone. U.C.A.T. is actively engaged in overall funding systems changes as well as advocacy for individuals with disabilities. Many conflicts in funding can be resolved by simply facilitating and encouraging communication between agency staff and the consumer.
