History

UATT was founded in 1988 by a group of Utah parents, professionals, and consumers who were all committed to empowering individuals with disabilities and augmenting their highest potential through the use of available technology. UATT is a member of the Alliance for Technology Access (ATA), a network of over 40 resource centers across the country. The ATA is committed to improving the lives of people with disabilities through the implementation of technology. The various centers in the alliance share with each other computer solutions and assist one another to stay abreast of the latest technological developments.
